Solar cell makers awaiting new government policies in Spain

The enforcement of the Electricity Feed-in (renewable energy premium) Bill (Royal Decree 661/2007) in Spain, the incentive offered by the Spanish government for adoption of solar and other renewable energy, will end on September 30, 2008 and a new regulation to succeed it is expected to have significant global influence on the development of the solar energy industry worldwide beginning the fourth quarter of 2008 and especially in 2009, according to Taiwan-based makers of solar wafers and cells.
