Industry leaders partner for high performance solar cells. Suniva Inc., a manufacturer of high value crystalline silicon solar cells, has signed a long-term agreement with REC, the world's largest producer of polysilicon and wafers for solar applications. The contract ensures Suniva access to more than $300 million worth of monocrystalline silicon wafers over the next five years for use at the company's new high volume production facility in Georgia.
