Cypress Semiconductor has announced that Fuji Xerox has selected its spread spectrum clock generator for multifunction devices. Cypress has said that the 4-PLL (phase-locked loop) CY2545 clock generator uses the spread-spectrum PLLs to reduce electro-magnetic interference (EMI) emissions in Fuji Xerox's ApeosPort-III and DocuCentre-III C3300/C2200.
