DuPont to establish new R&D and production facilities for c-Si & thin film materials

Module/cellDuPont is to build a new R&D facility in Hong Kong as well as a production facility in Shenzhen, China for current and future materials used for traditional crystalline silicon (c-Si) cell and module markets. Centrosolar partners with Qimonda in new 100MW solar cell joint venture

Qimonda PortugalA new joint venture crystalline solar cell manufacturer has been created with the announcement that Munich, Germany, based PV systems manufacturer, Centrosolar Group AG and Munich headquartered, Qimonda AG plan to build and operate a 100MWp facility at Qimonda’s Vila do Conde, Portugal, semiconductor packaging plant. NEHP upgrades to new facility

NEHPProcess piping solutions provider NEHP, Inc. has moved its production facilities to a new 15,000 square-foot building in Williston, Vermont. With cleanrooms of class 1,000 and 10,000 and two demarcated fabrication and production areas in the building, the move also holds the promise of further expansion with permits for the addition of a further 10,000 square feet. Tool Order: Solsonica selects gas abatement technology from Edwards

EdwardsPhotovoltaic cell and module manufacturer Solsonica, based in Rieti, Italy has selected gas abatement technology from Edwards that will be used for abatement during silicon nitride (SiN) deposition in its polysilicon solar cell manufacturing operations.
