Cyrium Technologies has named Harry Rozakis as its new CEO/president. The veteran Silicon Valley executive joins the Canadian high-efficiency concentrated photovoltaic cells supplier from Chipscale Advanced Packaging Services, where he served as CEO of its Vietnam unit.
Rozakis has more than 30 years of executive management and technology leadership experience in the semiconductor manufacturing sector and has spent a significant part of his career working in the Asia-Pacific region as well as Europe and North America.
"Cyrium is a company with cutting-edge technology and a rising presence in the solar industry," he said. "Driving manufacturing excellence and solidifying our market presence for CPV applications will be a major focus of mine as I go forward with the company. I welcome the opportunity to work with the Cyrium team in establishing a leadership position for the company in the solar industry."
In addition to his recent position with Chipscale APS, Rozakis previously worked as president/CEO of ASAT Holdings and held senior management positions at EEMS Italia, Tessera, and ChipPAC. He was chairman of the Micro Electronics Packaging and Test Engineering Council and chairman of the Semiconductor Assembly Council, and still serves on the board of trustees of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
