Solterra Renewable Technologies’ subsidiary, Hague Corp., the solar technology and quantum dot manufacturing company, has announced its appointment of Dr. Ghassen E. Jabbour as Chief Science Officer. Dr. Jabbour, a Professor of Chemical and Materials Engineering at Arizona State University and Director of Flexible and Organic Electronics Development at the Flexible Display Center (FDC), joins the company to oversee all development and characterization of Solterra’s thin-film Quantum Dot solar cell products.

Dr. Jabbour has been Professor at Arizona State University since 2006 and is also Technical Advisory Board Leader on Optoelectronic Materials, Devices and Encapsulation at FDC. During his career, he has been honoured as one of the Asahi Shimbun 100 New Leaders of the USA, and also received the Presidential Award for Excellence from the Hariri Foundation in 1997. He has authored, co-authored and edited over 300 publications involving organic photonics, electronics and nanotechnology.
