Solar Power Partners, Inc. announced that G. Robert Powell will become the company’s Vice President and CFO, David Kunhardt will be named as Vice President of Partnership Finance and Art Athas will be named Vice President of Market Development.

New Vice President, G. Robert Powell, will be in charge of the company’s financial activity.  He is the former CFO at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) Corporation’s regulated California utility in addition to being a Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s national energy practice and a Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP’s worldwide energy and communications practice.

David Kunhardt, who has been in tax equity finance for over two decades, was named SPP’s Vice President of Partnership Finance.  Before this, he was Director of RBC Apollo Equity Partners, in addition to being Senior Vice President of Transamerica and AEGON USA Realty Advisors.

The new Vice President of Market Development, Art Athas was involved with securing the first distributed solar power purchase agreement in the US at Solar Integrated Technologies (SIT).  He recently founded Green Source Solutions, a renewable energy-consulting firm.
