Following
the announcement of the acquisition by Robert Bosch GmbH of a majority
stake in ersol AG, Dr. Claus Beneking has announced his impending
retirement from the role of CEO. Beneking will, however, remain on as a
consultant following his retirement, which is planned in the next few
months.
“For personal reasons I myself will witness the new phase for only a short while as CEO. This is the right time to hand over the management of the company to the next generation, said Beneking. "I am proud to have accompanied and helped to shape its development from a small solar cell manufacturer to an integrated photovoltaic group.”
