Chairman Robert C. Stempel’s (pictured) intention to retire from the
role at the end of the year. His retirement will be made effective at
the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting on December 11th.
The Board of Directors will appoint a non-executive
successor to the Chairman role from the newly-appointed directors
elected at the same meeting.
Stempel, who retired from the role of CEO less than two months ago, has been Chairman of the Board for ECD since 1995.
