The snappier EPV SOLAR, Inc. title has been applied
to the company that was up to recently known as Energy Photovoltaics,
Inc. With this name change, the company has also chosen to announce
six new key management appointments.
The appointments are as follows: Tom Werthan joins
the company as CFO, having most recently served as CFO for EMCORE
CORP.; Robert Bryan, founder of Vixel Corp and MicroOptical Devices
joins as VP of Operations; former EMCORE Chief Legal Officer and
Secretary Howard Brodie steps into the role of VP and General Counsel;
Wayne LeBlanc brings over 35 years’ sales and marketing experience to
the role of VP of Business Development; Ren Jenkins brings 20 years’
experience in sales and business development to his VP of Marketing
role; and William Weisbecker, co-founder of Quantum Epitaxial Designs,
Inc., joins EPV SOLAR as VP of Sales.
