Former
IBM and Dell executive Larry Polizzotto has been appointed to the role
of Vice President of Investor Relations for First Solar. Reporting to
Jens Meyerhoff, company CFO, Polizzotto will liaise with First Solar’s
stockholders from the company headquarters in Tempe, Arizona.
Polizzotto brings 23 years of experience in investor relations, finance, corporate planning and technology development to the role, garnered from director and senior management roles at companies including IBM and Dell. He has a B.Sc. in engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. in finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
First Solar is a thin-film PV module manufacturer.
