Following
the selection of the members for SolFocus Europe’s Board in November
2007, the company has appointed Roberto de Diego Arozamena (pictured) as Managing
Director of SolFocus Europe and Pedro Ladron de Guevara de Echavarria
as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Tracking Systems
Business Division.
Mr. de Diego Arozamena joins the company from Dica Consultores, S.L. and Goiya Partners, S.L., where he held the role of partner. He worked with BT in a variety of senior roles, including President of BT Europe, CEO of BT Telecommunicaciones, S.A., and Vice President of EMEA Networking Solutions for NCR. Mr. de Diego Arozamena has a B.S.E.E. from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
Joining SolFocus with over 23 years of management, engineering and supply chain experience, Mr. Ladron de Guevara de Echavarria has held roles such as CEO of Global Markets at Lend Lease Corporation, Chairman and Managing Director of DTZ Iberica, and senior engineering and management roles with BP Oil and Mobil Oil Europe. He has a Master’s degree in engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and a qualification in executive studies from London Business School, Middlesex University and CEPADE.
