A. Cole, former CEO of Minco, which was acquired by Ceradyne in 2007,
has accepted the role of Vice President of Business Development for
Ceradyne, Inc. In this role, he will be shouldered with responsibility
for acquisitions, all ad hoc corporate activities and strategic
expansion within the company.
Mr. Cole was appointed CEO of Minco in 2000, prior to which he spent 18 years with Corning, Inc./Corhart Refractories. He has a B.S. degree from New York State College of Ceramic Engineering, Alfred University and an M.B.A. from the University of Buffalo.
Ceradyne, Inc. is a manufacturer of ceramic products and components for the photovoltaics industry.
