Solar, Inc. has added the experience of a former Chief Engineer at
Voltaix to its team. Bruce Hazeltine has joined the company in the role
as the silicon group’s Director of Process Development, a role that
will involve the development engineering initiatives aimed at the
creation of more cost-effective Trichlorosilane and silane gas
manufacturing facilities.
As Chief Engineer at Voltaix, his most recent role, he was responsible for process development, production capability and project engineering. He also acted as primary architect for the company’s ISO registration. Prior to joining Voltaix, he worked as development project manager for Velsicol Chemical Corporation, a producer of benzoic acid and related derivatives. He also served as development group leader for Hemlock Semiconductor.
