02 June 2008 | By Síle Mc Mahon | News > Cell Processing

Canadian SolarSolar cell producer Neo Solar Power has signed a five-year agreement to supply Canadian Solar with several hundred MW of solar cells. The deal, which will carry through until 2013, cost Canadian Solar over US$500 million and builds on Neo Solar and Canadian Solar’s existing supply relationship that has seen the companies collaborate since March 2007.

“NSP has been an invaluable and high-performing supplier to CSI and will be a key partner for us in the execution of our flexible vertical integration model and balanced supply strategy in the future,” said Dr. Shawn Qu, Chairman and CEO of Canadian Solar, Inc.
