PV Systems integrator COLEXON Energy AG has completed its first solar rooftop project in the U.S. using thin-film modules supplied by First Solar, Inc. The installation used 1,440 modules (108kWp) at the Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. COLEXON acted as project manager to Southwest Energy Solutions (SES) Solar, Inc., who acted as general contractor for the construction.

"With this project we gain a foothold in an important market, commented Thorsten Preugschas," CEO of COLEXON Energy AG. "After our successful market entry in the USA, we are planning further projects there soon. In this context, we are especially glad about the trustful and extraordinarily valuable partnership with First Solar."
