16 July 2008 | By Síle Mc Mahon | News > PV Modules

Day4EnergyDay4Energy, a PV module manufacturer, has added 35MW of production capacity to its Burnaby production facility in a greater-than-anticipated production expansion. The installation of Phase I production equipment in the facility has increased the company’s output by 25% more than was originally planned to 47MW per annum. The Phase II expansion, which is currently in process, will add an extra 50MW of capacity.

"Day4 Energy embarked on an ambitious growth strategy for 2008, and I am pleased to report our progress is on schedule,” said Neil Lang, Day4Energy’s COO. “With our Phase I expansion now complete, our immediate focus is on production ramp-up. We have already initiated production on the first part of the line and are looking to bring the rest of the equipment on-line in short order.”
