On a recent US Clean Energy and Environment Trade Mission to India and China, Patrick Peyton (pictured), Chairman and CEO of Despatch Industries, spoke with leading Indian government officials in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai on the subject of clean technology business opportunities. The mission, which was led by U.S. Commerce Assistant Secretary David Bohigian and Carmine D’Aloisio, Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs, saw the participation of 19 industry delegates.

Mr. Peyton joined the Trade Mission in India, speaking with government officials on the possibility for growth of the country’s solar power industry. Delegates were also afforded the opportunity of visiting the Green Business Center (GBC) in Hyderabad, a state building in which all environmental and green energy-related activities are contained. The GBC building itself is considered one of the most environmentally friendly buildings in the world, being made up almost entirely of recycled materials.
