In a press release today Roth and Rau announced plans to intensify their existing business relationship with Manz Automation and to work together in future in the form of a cooperation in key areas.

Little information was provided on the nature of this agreement beyond the intent to provide a new turnkey production line for the photovoltiac market using the relevant strengths of each company to cover all the process steps in the creation of c-Si solar cells.

The press release claims "The partners to the cooperation will therefore be able to offer a new concept in the market for turnkey production lines, thus enabling cost benefits to be exploited and further growth potential to be tapped."
