Scheduled for launch at Intersolar Munich on May 28th at 5pm, the International Solar Technology Award (Cell Award) ceremony preparations are gaining momentum. Armed with technology and product entries from some of the major players in the PV industry, the Cell Awards’ aim is to recognise the best of the best in a range of categories that will appeal to any facet of the PV industry.

Categories include:

• Best technical product for thin-film module manufacturing

• Best new manufacturing facility for cells, modules, equipment and BOS components

• Green solar manufacturing award.

Entries are still being accepted due to a huge level of interest in this inaugural event. The closing date for entries has been extended to April 28th, with the shortlists for each category being announced on May 8th.
