aleo solar has announced the delivery of modules to two solar farms located in the Czech Republic. Both power plants are installed on Greenfield sites and will have a maximum rated output close to one megawatt each. The grids will likely be connected in December.
Thus far, aleo has supplied over 4,500 aleo S_18 solar modules in Velká nad Veličkou through partner EkoSolar. The modules are rated at 220 and 225W. Jan Halla, CEO of E-in, provides reasoning for the company's investment in the plant: "We chose aleo modules for our first major photovoltaic installation due to their superior product and service quality."
aleo partner Profistav Litomyšl has installed the other greenfield solar facility in Horní Moštěnice. Around 5,400 aleo S_16 solar modules, rated at 185 and 190W, are currently in use in the system. Half of these have been placed on a single-axle tracking system.
Investors Manisa have financially backed the installation of the system. Petr Tesař from Manisa says, "We selected the German manufacturer aleo solar because aleo modules deliver superior long-term yield when compared to competing products."
Formed in 1992, Profistav Litomyšl installs turnkey building and photovoltaic systems using modules from aleo solar. By April of next year, Profistav Litomyšl will have installed an additional 1.4MW of aleo modules.
aleo solar established its sales office in the Czech Republic earlier this year.
"The Czech Republic offers exceptionally attractive conditions for operators of solar power plants," explains Norbert Schlesiger, Director of Sales for aleo. "The feed-in subsidy was reduced by only five percent. Therefore we expect strong growth to continue next year."
