Two commercial rooftop installations in the Flanders region of Belgium have been completed in the past few weeks using aleo solar modules. The 350kW and 500kW solar power plants went online in October and the company has revealed that it has several more similar orders in the pipeline, as it notices a trend toward more mid-sized rooftop installations in the country.

Ceratec, partner of aleo solar, oversaw the installation of the 2,300 aleo S_18 modules at the 500kW plant in Wondelgem, East Flanders, which will be operated by an infrastructure, soil remediation and recycling company.

The 350kW plant is located in Beernem, West Flanders, where another aleo partner Prosolar installed the 1,550 aleo S_18 modules as well as inverters supplied by aleo. The plant is located on the roof of a molded parts company.
