A wholly-owned subsidiary of Phoenix Solar AG, Phoenix Solar Energy Investments AG has announced its acquisition of all of the shares of Scarlatti Srl., an Italian project company headquartered in Eppan an der Weinstraße, Italy. Scarlatti currently has shares in four companies, which have plans develop five projects in Sicily, totalling around 27MW.
Scarlatti’s shares in these companies carry a condition whereby construction on the projects in hand can begin without any delay. The Sicilian projects, construction of which is planned for 2009 and 2010, represents Phoenix Solar Group’s largest combined project package in the Italian market to date.
