Puglia, Italy to receive extra 1MW with Premier Power project

Premier Power has begun construction on an additional 1MW solar power project in Puglia, Italy as part of the previously announced $100 million-plus worth of solar plants planned for the country. The announcement of the developments was made following Premier’s acquisition of Arco Energy in July.
Scheduled for completion in January 2010, the installation will be fixed ground mounted in format using Canadian Solar modules and PowerOne inverters. Premier Power began Phase one of a 20MW plant in September this year.
