SolarWorld AG tops quality study

16 February 2009 | By Patricia Johnson | News > PV Modules

SolarWorldSolarWorld AG came out on top in a quality study of the Photon trade journal. The company’s products outperformed those of its competitors in a long-term test of electricity production.

“This confirms our focus on quality and efficiency,” stated Dipl.-Ing. Frank H. Asbeck, SolarWorld AG Chairman and CEO. “Our customers can rely on the fact that with the SolarWorld AG products the yield from their solar roof is right. Especially at times of a financial crisis such a savings bank on the roof is a sound and sustainable capital investment.”

The company plans to bring efficient solar power technology into schools through its solar construction bonus of €2,500 for the installation of a solar power plant, which will be awarded to fitters who install a SolarWorld system with an output of at least 10kW peak. It also plans to donate PV technology displays and teaching materials.
