SolarWorld has reported a recession busting increase in employment for the first half of 2009, contradicting many others who are having to stick at existing levels and in many cases reduce the amount of employees during these tough economic times.
In the first six months of this year, SolarWorld had 2,500 people working for the company worldwide, this is a 25% increase in comparison to the same period of 2008.
SolarWorld pursues a sustainable development strategy, also for its employees whereby every new position is adjusted to the growth of the company in order to be able to offer all employees a long-term perspective.
