micro-inverter systems from Enphase EnergySolar micro-inverter systems from Enphase Energy, Inc. will now be offered via Suntech Power Holdings authorized dealerships in the U.S. In January 2009, Enphase signed a supply agreement with Akeena Solar that was expected to result in 100,000 micro-inverters used with Akeena’s ‘Andalay’ solar panels over the next two years.

Suntech said it had ordered approximately 1MW of Enphase micro-inverters, which will be stocked at Suntech’s U.S.-based warehouses with its modules to streamline ordering and logistics.

"Enphase Energy has come out with some very impressive inverter technology that will change the way solar is installed. We want to help our Authorized Dealers stay ahead of the curve, which is why we decided to make this available to our customers," said Roger Efird, President, Suntech America, Inc.
