spi-sun-simulatorTÜV Rheinland of North America has selected the 4600 Single Long Pulse ‘Spi-Sun Simulator’ from Spire Corporation for its new test laboratory at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona. The new 40,000 square foot facility has double the capacity of the previous lab and provides full testing and certification.

“The simulator is central to our process and will allow us to measure modules in a controlled environment so that we can meet our desired testing turnaround times,” commented Mani G. Tamith-Mani, Ph.D., President of TÜV Rheinland PTL. “Spire’s technology and sun simulators are recognized worldwide, so that our clients will feel comfortable with the accuracy of our measurements during the certification procedures we perform for them.
