Chinese wafer manufacturer ReneSola Ltd. has received approval from the Zhejiang provincial government for the construction of several BIPV rooftop installations on government buildings in Jiashan County. The 5MW project is still subject to approval by the Ministries of Finance and Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
The approximately US$23.4 million project is subject to final approval by the Ministries of Finance and Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Renesola said the project is to be partially funded through the RMB15 per-watt subsidy announced by the government in March.
