Austria-based PV project developer Activ Solar has completed a 43.14MWp PV power plant in the Odessa region of Ukraine.

According to the company, the completion of the Dunayskaya Solar Power Station brings Activ Solar’s total project developments past the 300MWp milestone, over the last two years.

Kaveh Ertefai, CEO of Activ Solar said: “Southern Ukraine is a good strategic fit for us, because it benefits from high levels of irradiation all year round but lacks sustainable local energy supply. Ukraine will remain a key market for Activ Solar as we continue to diversify into other emerging solar markets.”
