Advanced Energy Industries (AE) and Ebara Field Tech (EFT) will collaborate on sales and service support for AE thin-film products in Japan.

AE noted that the agreement serves in helping it take a step forward in its ever-changing customer global footprint, which includes providing more localized customer assistance and response.

In order to better carry out the terms of the partnership, AE has moved its Japanese office to the EFT campus in Fujisawa-shi, Kanagawa-ken. Norio Kimura, president of EFT, acknowledged that AE’s product portfolio fit well with the EFT’s offerings in the semiconductor, flat panel and general industrial markets.
