aleo solar sees growth potential of Israeli market

The company it had tripled its turnover in Israel in 2011, compared to the previous year, supplying 1.2MW to the country.

With the search on for new and attractive PV markets, aleo solar believes Israel holds promise for the module manufacturer. The company had tripled its turnover in Israel in 2011, compared to the previous year, supplying 1.2MW to the country.

Its latest project, in conjunction with installer, Solenergy, included a settlement in Ram-On, which included PV plants with an output of 15 - 50kW on more than 25 residential and agricultural buildings.

Operators of small plants (less than 15kW) receive €0.38/kWh over 20 years – operators of large plants (more than 15kW) receive €0.30/kWh over 20 years under the FiT in Israel.
