Ambassador Energy’s Southern California sales team is adding personnel in response to solar repayment programmes such as property assessed clean energy (PACE) financing.
Kelly Smith, president of Ambassador Energy, noted that with financing programs like PACE, property owners can defer the costs of solar installations to their property tax roll, leading customers to supposedly pay less than what would have been paid on their utility bill. Ambassador Energy conceded that with more customers choosing different payment options, it needed the extra manpower to keep up with demand.
