Tempress Systems, Inc., subsidiary of Amtech Systems, Inc. has revealed that it has received approximately $3 million in orders for its diffusion processing systems. The follow-on orders were placed by two unnamed Asia-based customers, and mark the second such order for Tempress since the start of the year.
“We continue to see acceptance and demand for our solar products, as demonstrated by these two follow-on orders,” commented J.S. Whang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amtech. “Additionally, we are pleased with the continued high interest in our products and the high quality prospects we generated during and around last week’s photovoltaic show in Munich, Germany. While this March quarter has been difficult for all companies, we remain focused on executing our solar growth plan and continue to be optimistic about the long-term growth opportunities in the solar market.”
