Avantor appoints Allison Hosak as new director of corporate communications

Avantor Performance Materials has unveiled Allison Hosak as its new director of corporate communications. Hosak, who has been promoted from her position as marketing communications manager, will be responsible for corporate branding, internal communications, event planning and marketing.

Hosak joined Avantor in 2001 as marketing promotion manager after earning a BSc in business administration from Kutztown University and an MBA from Lehigh University. In 2005, she was promoted to product manager before rising to marketing communications manager two years later.

"Allison's education and wealth of well-rounded experience make her especially suited for this position," said Paul Smaltz, Avantor's vice president of global marketing. "Her insight and experience will be an asset as Avantor continues to pursue its goal of becoming a leading global supplier of performance materials."
