Bekaert updates North American sales team with Jay Gilles

Bekaert Advanced Coatings, provider of rotatable sputter solutions for all PVD applications, is expanding its sales team in the U.S. in order to assure local support to customers’ needs.

Jay Gilles has been appointed as Market Manager Sputter Products USA to work from the Spring Green, Wisconsin location, where he will assume some responsibilities of Peter Andries. Gilles has been working with Bekaert since 2008 and under his expanded role he will handle queries and customer concerns.

Gilles is replacing Peter Andries, who has relocated to the United States’ west coast to pursue opportunities in the PV market there.  Koen Staelens, Product Market Manager Sputter Products, remarked “[he] is a seasoned professional with an in-depth understanding of Bekaert’s sputter solutions and an accurate knowledge of customer requirements in North-America. We are extremely pleased that Peter accepted this new challenge and look forward to his successes as he focuses on strengthening our customer relationships and broadening our presence in the North-American Photovoltaic market.”
