Slovene solar company Bisol has signed a framework agreement to supply its modules to the French energy company GDF Suez. The contract is viewed as one of critical importance to the development of the French PV industry and it was signed in the presence of the Slovene Prime Minister, Borut Pahor, and France’s Minister of industry, energy and digital economy, Éric Besson.
Since the opening its French subsidiary in Chambery last year, Bisol has been devoting much of its attention and resources to developments in the country’s PV market; in February, at Salon des Energies Renouvelables in Lyon Bisol presented a new range of products targeted to French clients, which included its mono-crystalline silicon frameless PV modules and Solrif roof-integration system.

Sun angle and cloud cover are key to solar power. The Persian Gulf is close to the equator so sun angle will be good. It’s a dry area so cloud cover housld be low which is good. You also have a low infestation level of environmentalist so there should be little objection to developing solar power.
