Bob Cart named Executive Chairman at GreenVolts

Gunther Portfolio first reported on the rumour last week that GreenVolts have announced Bob Cart, who found the company in 2005, has been named to a fulltime position as Executive Chairman in addition to being Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Also, CFO Gary Beasley will temporarily take on extra responsibilities of President and CEO.

Prior to his promotion at GreenVolts, Cart had been CEO at several other ventures.  As Executive Chairman, Cart will be responsible for work on government relations and strategic alliances.

Before serving as GreenVolts’ CFO, Beasley had been President and CFO at ZipRealty, Inc. in addition to helping execute close to US$800 million worth of acquisitions at KSL Resorts.
