camLine Datensysteme becomes preferred MES software provider for Oerlikon Solar

MES manufacturing execution system) software provider camLine Datensysteme has been selected by a-Si thin-film equipment supplier Oerlikon Solar as its preferred supplier of MES software for its turnkey manufacturing lines.

According to Oerlikon Solar, camLine was chosen ahead of other MES providers due to the comprehensive process knowledge built into the camLine LineWorks software suite as well as its know-how in equipment integration.

The modular design approach of the LineWorks product suite was also cited as it supports the ‘required flexibility, remote operability, individual reporting composability for the end-users,’ according to Oerlikon.
