Centrosolar France has supplied 19,000 PV modules to a project in the department of Seine Maritime in Northern France. Housing developer Habitat 76 has installed 3.7MW of PV modules on 190 roofs in collaboration with French electricity company EDF Optimal Solutions.
The first of the systems, located in the town of Darnetal, has already been connected to the grid. 1,975 Centrosolar S-Class modules generate 385kW of energy on a roof area totalling 3,388m². The project is estimated to be completed in June 2013. Centrosolar France is a subsidiary of Centrosolar and France is, next to the US and Italy, the company’s biggest market.
