Centrosolar will present a new, flat roof mounting system for PV modules at Solar Power UK 2011, originally introduced at the Intersolar Europe trade fair in Munich earlier this summer. The Ceniq system enables PV systems to be installed on flat foil roofs at an angle of up to three degrees, without damaging the roof cladding in the process.
The Ceniq system has a weight per unit area of less than 10kgs per square meter making it significantly lighter than conventional mounting systems.

The unique selling point of the system is its mounting technique: it is mounted on the roof by means of a combination of ballasting and welding with the roof membrane which absorbs the horizontal wind pressure. It is made of 100% polypropylene (PP) and is shaped like an elongated triangle creating a wind deflector on the rear side, sealing the system and reducing the suction force of the wind on it.
All Centrosolar crystalline modules, as well as conventional module types of other manufacturers, can be installed with the new Ceniq mounting system.
Solar Power UK will take place from October 26 to 28 at the ICC in Birmingham.
