Cleantech America appoints new CFO

William L. Overholt has joined the Cleantech America team as CFO, reporting to company CEO Bill Barnes.  Overholt’s most recent position was as VP of Finance for Calpine Corporation, and his new role will see him oversee all corporate and finance activities as well as mergers and acquisitions for the company.   Mr. Overholt joined Calpine in 2000, prior to which he had various finance and development roles with companies such as Edison Mission Energy, Atlantic Richfield Company and Unocal Corp.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles.
