CPUC approves 20-year PPA between First Solar and SCE for Silver State project

First Solar and Southern California Edison receive approval from CPUC for 20-year PPA.

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) announced that it has approved a 20-year PPA between Southern California Edison (SCE) and First Solar. The PPA includes solar energy from First Solar’s Silver State Solar Power South project, a 250MW solar project in Clark County, Nevada, which is scheduled to come on line in May 2017. The companies advised that the cost of the deal remains confidential at this time.
