DEGERenergie has hired several new key personnel to its international offices in order to better serve, and build better relationships, with its customers. Customers in Germany and other European countries will now be serviced by Hendrik Walter and Steffen Bahlinger.

Walter comes from one of DEGERenergie’s partners and was previously a service technician in Canada. Bahlinger and Walter will assist in answering technical questions for customers via phone and e-mail while also providing support in information about the installation and final inspections of solar parks before commissioning.

Daniel Schrade, customer service manage, commented, “With our technical service, we want to get even closer to the customer. Especially on markets [Greece, Spain, Portugal, Canada, US, Australia and Germany] where we are particularly active and win more and more customers, we are hiring service staff and expanding our partner network. Our objective is to provide customers with a qualified answer to their questions within 24 hours and, in urgent cases, have a qualified technician provide assistance on site as quickly as possible.”

For its Australian market, DEGERenergie hired Florian Falk Naumann to its international distribution team. The company recently opened a production facility in Wodonga and will rely on Naumann for setting up an efficient distribution network for the company in Australia.

Naumann joins DEGERenergie after working in several arenas, including being a lecturer at different schools in Australia and a technical sales consultant for technical products. He also has a background as a business analyst in the import/export business in Germany. He holds a degree in international business and a master’s in technology and innovation management from the University of Queensland.
