Dexter Fong appointed CFO at Apollo Solar Energy

Dexter Fong has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Apollo Solar Energy, Inc., and will also serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Fong brings 23 years of financial and executive experience.

From December 2006 to January 2009, he served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at FUQI International, Inc, a designer of high quality precious metal jewellery in China. Previously, from January 2004 to November 2006, Mr. Fong was a Managing Partner of Iceberg Financial Consultants, a financial advisory firm in China. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Holley Company, a Chinese-based CDMA chip and cell phone design company. Mr. Fong is a certified public accountant and has served several roles within accounting firms in the United States and Hong Kong, such as Deloitte and Touche, Ernst and Young, and KPMG Peat Marwick. He obtained a degree in history from the Hong Kong Baptist College in 1982, an MBA from the University of Nevada at Reno in 1989, and a Master’s in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1993.
