Dr. Therese Jordan to oversee Konarka’s Business Development

Former global market director with General Electric Corp. Dr. Therese (Terri) Jordan has been added to Konarka’s executive team as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, her experience will be applied to Konarka’s business development operations, working closely with Dan Williams, Vice President of product development.

Dr. Jordan will also will manage research agreements and coordinate business development strategy with Total SA, with whom Konarka has R&D and commercial cooperation agreements.

Dr. Jordan brings 20 years of business innovation and 10 years of global marketing experience to the company. She has served as global marketing director at Victrex Plc., a polymer materials provider, and spent 15 years at GE in roles such as global market director, polymer physicist and product developer.

A recipient of various awards, holder of four patents and a much-published author, Dr. Jordan has a doctorate in polymer science from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Tufts University.
