Eoxis UK secures US$28 million loan for two Italian PV plants

Eoxis UK, a renewable energy investor, has confirmed to PV-Tech that it has received a project financing loan amounting to €21.5 million (US$28 million) from investment company ING Groep.

The loan will be used to finance two Italian PV facilities in Puglia and Campania. The projects, which were acquired by the company from SunEdison in the summer of 2012, have a combined capacity of 9.45MW and were connected to the grid in 2011.

No further details were provided by the company.
