EPC firm SunEnergy1 completes five PV plants using Array Technologies mounting systems

SunEnergy1, a preferred EPC to Duke Energy Renewables has completed five PV projects in North Carolina totalling 56MW (dc).

The projects were all interconnected and commissioned within 60 days and ahead of the 31 December tax credit deadline.

SunEnergy1 contracted with Array Technologies (ATI), to provide both ‘DuraTrack’ HZ and ‘DuraRack’ fixed-tilt mounting systems but due to the tight schedules also provided engineering services, factory kitted assemblies, on-site project management support and accelerated shipments scheduling.

ATI noted that new enhancements to its mounting systems technology such as integrated grounding module mounting clamps, which are claimed to reduce installation times, were used on the projects.

The projects called Dogwood Solar Power, Windsor Cooper Hill Solar, Bethel Price Solar, Washington Airport Solar and Highway 92 Solar were all located in eastern North Carolina.
