Tigo Energy’s ‘Maximizer’ System which is a power output enhancer that can improve output by 20% in a PV array and is currently ramping to full production has achieved compliance to the UL1741 as certified by CSA.
Tigo Energy’s Module Maximizer family - the MM - ES (serial version) is being featured in Hamburg at EU PVSEC. The latest product is designed to work with inverters from leading manufacturers without modification. The MM-EP series which was introduced earlier this year is said to offers extreme flexibility in high-voltage, BIPV or floating system applications while providing the BOS cost reductions associated with very long-branch lengths afforded by the parallel topology.
"By achieving compliance and certification, we have reached an important landmark that will lead us to volume sales engagements," explains Jeff Krisa, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Tigo Energy.
