Eugene Ngai named industrial safety advisor at Sixtron

Sixtron Advanced Materials, developers of silane-free industrial coatings, appointed Eugene Ngai as Industrial Safety Advisor. Ngai carries with him 35 years of experience in industrial silane safety. 

Prior to joining Sixtron, Ngai had been Director of Emergency Response and Disposal Technology at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.  In addition to founding the Emergency Response Equipment and Training group in 1990, Ngai was responsible for training over 4,000 customers, government agencies and employees and more than 750 firefighters in Compressed Gas Safety and Emergency Response. 

Ngai was Vice President of Technology at Solkatronic Chemicals before Air Products acquired the company in 1999.  He also has five U.S. patents for gas safety devices and an additional pending patent for purification technology.
